Your child should write down their homework in their agendas daily. It is
written on the board for them and they are given time to
copy it. Parents, please sign the agenda each night
(Monday through Thursday)to confirm that homework has been completed and
reviewed.
If it is sent home, it's okay to help them.

READING HOMEWORK GRADES-(10% of Reading Grade)
Monthly:
Once students have their AR books, students should be reading 20-30 Monday-
Thursday nights and once on the weekend. Students should fill out their AR
Reading Record on those nights and have a parent/guardian initial it. This
sheet will be checked daily. This is 1 of 2 parts of the Reading Homework
Grade.
Two Times Per 9 Weeks:
(At Mid 9-Weeks and the End of the 9-Weeks)
The second part is the Reading Homework Grade Sheet.
Both percent of points earned toward the 9-weeks AR point goal and
comprehension will be considered for this grade.
Language-
Daily Oral Language Participation Grade and DOL will be picked up again this
week.
Students will be participating in a daily lesson in class to review the
skill of the week. They will normally be given time in class to work and ask
questions. Writing assignments will follow a different schedule.
If a student does not complete an assignment in class, they need to complete
it at home. Please read and follow directions carefully.
Seatwork/Homework- Do not work ahead on your Language Packets.
