Welcome to a new year and a new start to Bayou Woods! This year, 2011-2012,
will be a transitional year for all of us. As you are aware, many of our
teachers and other faculty will be leaving us at some point during the school
year to open the new school, Mayfield Elementary. I am proud to be staying
at Bayou Woods, and I look forward to helping to make it the best school on
the North Shore!
I enjoyed meeting my new students and most of their caregivers so far at both
the Meet and Greet in August, and the Open House in September. I hope to see
all of you at various times throughout each nine week period. It is a great
way for us to discuss the best way to challenge your child to reach or exceed
his/her potential!
My mission for the 2011-2012 school year is to assure that all students reach
(or exceed) their academic and social potential. To do this, I will be
working with all caregivers, the students, my colleagues at the school, my
family and the community. Are you willing to do your part? I am!
