Homework for the week of November 16 - 20, 2009
Monday: Study vocabulary words from Book 2 to get ready for Book 2
vocabulary test tomorrow! Complete Math page. Read a book of your child’s
choice for at least 10 minutes. Finish your November Home project to turn in
tomorrow if you are participating!
Tuesday: Complete Grammar page. Read a book of your child’s choice for at
least 10 minutes. Bring in your canned food donation…tomorrow is the last
day of the Canned Food Drive!!!
Wednesday: Review the highlighted and challenge words from Spelling units 7 –
11 (2nd quarter Spelling words). Complete a Spelling activity to practice
ALL of these highlighted/challenge words in your Spelling notebook. Parents,
please sign in your child’s Spelling notebook indicating which activity your
child completed.
Thursday: Complete Math page. Turn in Scholastic book order tomorrow if you
wish to make a purchase (remember only checks made payable to Scholastic are
accepted!) Bring in your fruit and vegetable for our friendship salad and
soup tomorrow if you haven’t done so already!
Friday: Enjoy your Thanksgiving break!
