Monday: Read the Home School Connection booklet and sign indicating that
you have completed this with your child. Make flashcards of the “phonics”
and “story” words that go with Book 2, Week 1’s story (these words are in
your child’s folder.) Complete Math page.
Tuesday: Read phonics stories (three on a page), complete the suggested
reading activity, and sign indicating your child read these to you. Review
Book 2, Week 1 words (in your child’s folder.) Complete Grammar page.
Wednesday: Read the “Get Ready” story (“One Frog, Two Frogs”) and the “Main
Selection” story (“Animal Moms and Dads”) in your child’s folder. Sign
indicating you have read these with your child. Review Book 2, Week 1
words. Choose a Spelling activity and sign in Spelling notebook indicating
the activity your child completed.
Thursday: Read the “Get Ready” story (“One Frog, Two Frogs”) and the “Main
Selection” story (“Animal Moms and Dads”) in your child’s folder. Sign
indicating you have read these with your child. Review Book 2, Week 1
words. Study for Spelling test tomorrow!
