My time at Bonne Ecole has been a true blessing.  The outpouring of support 
and caring have been overwhelming.   My students are the best and I am awed 
by their welcoming of this Okie into their lives.

I have learned many things about my new state. The students have cheered my 
many new experiences----the consumption of crawfish and King cake being 
among the top memories. They have prounouced and explained names for me. 
They guided me through my first Louisiana Mardi Gras.

I thank each student and each parent for making my time at Bonne Ecole an 
experience I treasure.  Transitions are not always easy, but the positive 
atttitudes of this class made mine much easier.

Next year I will be teaching sixth grade at Mandeville Middle School. Moving 
to a new school was a very difficult decision, but driving time and now the 
cost of gas make this a wise decision.
