We have many upcoming events. Please remind your student that school isn't
over yet! We are still working and learning. It is important that they
come to school ready to learn and work.
Remember to send money for Entrepeneur Day, Friday, May 9th. Please send
change and small bills.
Check the calendar for important dates!
Sixth graders are asked to donate a jar of whole dill pickles by Thursday
for our Family All-Star RR night.
Please remember to check your child's grades on STI regularly. Be sure to
sign graded papers each Thursday.
A parent letter for the sixth grade promotion and picnic went home Monday,
April 21, 2008. This letter must be signed by a parent. Please be sure to
return the bottom portion to school.
Volunteer Breakfast- Please look for the letter inviting all volunteers to
attend our Appreciation breakfast,this letter is coming home today! (Monday)
This week...
Reading- "My Side of the Mountain"- read, discuss, journal questions and
reading/language activities Ch. 10-16 test Tuesday, Final test Friday.
Science- Energy- We will review Energy and test on Friday.
Social Studies- Ch. 9- we will finish the chapter and test on Thursday.
Writing- Prompt- My Years at Bonne Ecole- One student per class will be
chosen to read his/her essay at our 6th grade promotion.
Math- Fractions and decimals- we will continue to review percent.
Spelling- Unit 32(TEST FRIDAY)
Language- Conjunctions & Interjections and prepositions- quiz Friday.
