My name is Tammy Williams-Benoit. This is my eleventh year of teaching,
seventh year at Bonne Ecole. I have taught T-1, 1st,2nd, and 3rd grades. I
taught two weeks of 8th grade summer school this summer and loved it. This
year is myfirst year teaching 6th grade and I am so very excited. I am
especially excited about working with this group of kids. I taught 2nd and
3rd grade with these students.
I have one daughter, Alexis. She will be a 7th grader at Slidell Junior
High this year. She is a "Tigerette", SJH's danceteam. I was one of
the dance team sponsors at Bonne Ecole. However, this year I will sponsor
Student Council for 6th grade.
The only thing I love more than teaching,is being a mom. I believe being a
teacher is my calling.
My mission for our class is that every child will feel valued and
respected. I want our class to be "a family" at school. I want each child
to reach his or her full potential academically, socially, and personally.
My mission for this class is to guide the students to become academic high
achievers, realizing that means different things for different students. I
hope to foster a class of students that love and respect each other, while
appreciating individual differences.
