Soccer Notes
1.Only the Goalie may use hands on the field.
2. Each team has 11 players on the field.
3. The game begins with a kickoff.
4. A "throw in" occurs after a ball goes out of bounds on the sideline.
5. A "goal" kick or a "corner" kick occurs when the ball goes out of bounds
on the end line.
6. Only the Goalie may punt the ball. The Goalie may punt the ball or throw
it, if he catches it before it goes out of bounds.
7. The 3 rules for a throw in are: Both hands on soccer ball; overhead; both
feet on ground.
8. Only 2 players in center circle for a kickoff.
9. On a kickoff, the first kick MUST go forward, off of the center line.
10. A "handball" occurs if the soccer ball makes contact with any part of
your arm or hand.
