Mythology Presentation--Look at 3-4 versions of your myth. Learn all you can about your story. Remember the point of your presentation is not only to tell the myth but to also tell the importance to ancient Greek culture. Think about what your myth explains or what virtue it upholds; be able to explain these ideas in your presentation. Start working on your amazing visual aids. (A=3/13) (B=3/14)

After reading the information about Introductory paragraphs, draft an introductory paragraph for your Antigone/Oedipus Essay. (A=3/5) (B=3/6)

Mythology Presentations--

You are going to research a myth. Learn everything about the characters involved and what happened and what the myth was meant to explain or teach. You will then prepare a short 2-3 minute presentation to the class about your myth. You will need to make a visual aide to help teach us about your myth.

Presentation grade: (30 pts)

· preparedness / poise

· thoroughness

· accuracy to the myth

Visual aide grade: (50 pts)

· relevance to the myth

· creativity

· aesthetics


You will need to get initial approval from Ms. Anderson on (A=3/5) (B=3/2) for your myth. We will draw numbers to sign up for myths. Make sure you have back up myths in case someone signs up for your choice before you.
