How To Get
Extra Credit
You may earn extra credit in the following areas:
1.
Feature length movies
2.
Speakers
3.
Documentaries
4.
Special presentations
Total Points Possible per semester: 15
In general a student may earn up to 5 points per activity.
Students will receive credit for an activity after writing a one-page,
12-point font, double-spaced review. The following material
must be typed. Please fill the entire page.
1.
1 paragraph summary
2.
1 paragraph stating what you learned that you didn’t know before, and
how you personally felt
about the movie or the activity. Did you like
it? Why or why not?
After completing the review, please turn it in to Mrs. S. for credit.
**Note:
1. Check with Mrs. S. beforehand to see if you can
earn extra credit for certain movies.
2. Also, most documentaries will count
for some points. So please, if you are vegetating in front of the TV in the
evening and find some documentary that is interesting, please stop and watch.
Take a few notes and then write the review. Be sure
to let me know the amount of time you spent watching the documentary.
