What do I do if I miss class?

The parish policy for make-up work will be followed without
exception. If you are absent on a due date for an assignment,
your assignment
is due when you return to school. See TeacherWeb for the class
calendar of assignments. Get notes from a classmate. You must
also make up any tests
or quizzes. You have to schdeule make ups within 3 days of your
return to
school. All make ups must be done before school unless other
arrangements
are made!

What if I know I will be absent on a test day or a due date for an assignment?

You are still responsible for making up tests and turning in
assignments.
Assignments are due upon your return to school.

What if I have typed an assignment and cannot print it to turn in?

You must save your work on a flash drive or email it to
yourself. Go to the
library and print your work. You may also email your work to
me. It will
be time stamped so that I know you submitted it on time. NO
EXCUSES!

What if I do not understand an assignment?

Your assignment is due on the due date. If you do not understand
the
instructions, you should take time in class to ask questions.
You may also
see me after school. If you wait until the night before the due
date to
begin a project, paper, or assignment which has been assigned
more that one
day in advance, I will not be able to answer your questions. If
you come to
class without your assignment because you "did not
understand it" I will not
excuse your work.

What do I do if I miss a Socratic Seminar?

You are still responsible for preparing for the seminar. You
will submit
your notes for the seminar, the same notes you would have brought
to the
seminar in order to participate. These notes will include
answers to
questions provided on a prep-sheet and personal notes and
comments on the
seminar topic.
