1/23/12 Please bring "Semester II Assignment 1" today and tomorrow and to
class the rest of this week.

1/22/12 9:00 PM. Very few B-day students have read the Announcement I left on
1/20. Sigh. Points will be lost. No excuses.

1/20/12 Reminders/Assignment (25 points)

1. Check my TeacherWeb page daily. Read Announcements first. Print any
handouts needed for the next class.
2. You should email me about any questions you have regarding
homework/assignments/notes. This will serve as documentation for your parents
that you are an active learner.
3. Homework questions will be addressed during the first 15 minutes of class.
Use this time wisely because it will help you on the homework quizzes.
4. ALL personal items (backpacks, purses, cell phones, laptops) must be
stored behind your workstation. Cell phones must be in your purse or in your
backpack.
5. NO personal items, except what is needed for this class, will be allowed
on the work station top.
6. NO work or textbooks for other classes will be allowed on the work station
tops.
7. Expect homework quizzes at least twice a week.

1/17/2012 Welcome back! Remember to check this TeacherWeb page every day for
announcements. Check for handouts on the Handouts page.

1/17/2012 Advanced Math: This week, you will need the first two sets of
handouts for Semester II. The third set of handouts will be used after we
review concepts you learned in algebra II. This will be a FAST review, so
please be attentive.

1/17/2012 Geometry: I'll have the 6.4 handouts completed before Friday.
Please read the 6.1 and 6.2 NOTES AND text before Wednesday.

1/17/2012 ALL Students: I am changing the way we grade homework. There will
be a homework quiz once or twice a week. Different blocks will have different
quizzes and different rows in one class will have different problems. Get
ready: If you have been copying homework, your in-class grade will be
affected in such a way to make it apparent to you and to your parents that
you are not preparing as you should (with honesty and integrity) for this
class each day.

1/16/2012 Advanced Math Students: Print the first handout for semester 2. You
may want to locate your algebra II notes and start writing the definitions
for the terms.

ACCESS TO GRADES: http://www.caddo.k12.la.us/parent.cfm

Set up a user account and password. The initial access is through the last 5
digits of your student's social security number. ALL of the classes with
grades will be listed at one place. :)
