When can Captain Shreve students use the library?

The library opens to students at 7:45am, during school lunch
break, and for 30 minutes after school. You will need a library
pass if you intend to use the library before school or during
lunch break. Let me know and I will be happy to issue you a pass.

How can I bring up my grade before the end of the semester?

I understand that sometimes life just gets in the way and causes
all of us to lose, misplace, or simply not be able to complete a
task that has been assigned to us. I will likely sympathize with
your situation, but make-up work will be allowed based on the
standards that are set by the school administration and Caddo
Parish Schools. Please review the student handbook for more
information.
As for extra credit work…no additional work will be assigned on
an individual basis for reason of fairness.

Should my son/daughter have a textbook at home?

No. I do not issue textbooks to my students; although, we do use
them in class periodically. I have provided your son/daughter
with pre-prepared notes which will be completed during class and
used by students in preparation for quizzes, exams, etc.
Students who require additional information/reinforcement may
request a textbook.

What if I lose my notes, worksheet, or some other important document?

There will be a few rare exceptions when I do not post a handout
on TeacherWeb, but almost everything you receive in this class
will be posted there. If you have a problem finding an item I
suggest you try these options first before panicking:
1. call a classmate, or someone that you know is in
another of my class periods;
2. or email me. My address is stevenkyledeville@yahoo.com
