I am really looking forward to working with all of you and am very excited
about teaching American and Military History this year! I love history
hopefully can share my enthusiasm with you.
After attending Western Illinois University, and North Park College, I
married, started a family and returned to school. I graduated from LSUS in
2000 and received my Master's Degree in 2011.
Ray is my husband of 30 years and is an avid duck hunter. He designs and
maintains the website for KTAL. My son Michael is a LSUS graduate with a
major in Mass Communications. I have a black lab - Phil (4 years old,
AKA No No Bad Dog) - so I will tend to believe you if you tell me that the
dog ate your homework, but only one time.
I'm sure we'll have a great year and I encourage you to contact me if you
have any concerns.
I believe that American and Military History are interesting and important
subjects. If we do not learn from the past, we cannot hope to improve our
world in the future. I sincerely enjoy teaching (and learning) and I hope my
enthusiasm will inspire students.
In my class, every student will be given an opportunity to succeed.
Hopefully, my classes will be informative, helpful, and sometimes fun.
