Homework

ENGLISH - HONORS:
You're doing very well with Romeo & Juliet - We will continue reading this
week and begin our filming by the end of the week. We've put some of our
vocabulary on hold, but I will be doing a little bit with it each day this
week - Tiny bites!!
This weekend you should be attempting Act 2 - Pay special attention to the
scenes where your cuttings were taken - the meeting at the Capulet's party
and the Balcony scene in Juliet's back yard. Start learning your lines -
We'll do the presentations the week of the 16th!!! I'm so looking forward to
that!

Listen, the vocabulary test scores have been weeeeeeeaaaak! After going over
all these words in class and doing 3 exercises applying them each week, I
want you to reconsider how you typically study for the tests. Don't just
read over the words and definitions. THINK about what they mean. Picture
the opposite; relate the word to other words you know. We need to practice
in a more efficient way. It will save you time in the long run.
