Every year Captain Shreve sends students to compete at the Regional Social
Studies Fair held at LSUS in March. If you are interested in participating
in the Fair here is what you need to do:
First - Go by Mr. Deville's room and pick up a packet explaining the
rules and requirements for your project.
Next - Choose a topic to conduct your research (Anthropology, Economics,
History, Political Science, Geography, or Sociology). Make sure
you choose something that is interesting to you and will peak the
interest of judges. Use the packet of information you received
for guidelines and suggestions.
Then - Get all of the research done and create the project visual. Make
it very attractive and appealing.
Finally - Turn in your research paper and visual to me no later than the
end of the first week in February.
Projects will be enteted into Captain Shreve's Fair. If your
project is chosen, then it is off to the Regional Fair at
LSUS.
This is an optional assignment in which you can get points to help your
grade.
Let me know if you have any questions.
