When can students make up work?

Students are permitted to make up work once they have brought a
parent's note or a doctor's excuse. See handbook for other
acceptable excuses. If a student misses a quiz or test, it must
be made up afterschool (3:45 - 4:30)on Tuesday or Thursday.

Students must be in my room promptly at 3:45. As far as class
assignments and homework, students will be given those once I
receive (in a timely manner) their excuse.

Do you offer tutoring? (includes guidelines)

Tutoring is each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 3:45pm to
4:30pm. There may be a few occassions when tutoring is cancelled
due to a meeting/conference. Look for announcements on the board
as to when tutoring has to be cancelled.

Tutoring is held to address problem areas. Therefore, please come
to tutoring having specific questions. Tutoring is not a time to
socialize or "hang out."Tutoring is not for persons who have been
discipline problems in class. Tutoring is also not for persons
who choose not to do the class assignment(or homework).

Please be prompt when coming to tutoring.

How do I study for a test?

The best way to study for a test is to review class notes. You
should also rework examples given to you in your notes. You
should spend at least 15 min each night reviewing notes and
problems.
