Extra Credit Essay
Students wishing to earn extra credit may complete the following Essay Prompt.
This will be due the day of the Midterm Exam for your class.
Read the Wikipedia pages about Isaac Newton, Archimedes, and
Euclid.
Write a one-page essay discussing which of these three great mathematicians you
believe made the greatest contribution to mathematics as we know it. Essays
should include reasons why the man you chose is more influential or important
than the other two.
Update 12/18
Grades are up to date excluding the Chapter 6 Enriched Test. Those grades will
be updated on the Monday after the Holiday Break.
