Reading: Students seem to be enjoying and benefiting from a mix of
chapter books, Triumphs' readers, and nonfiction stories presented in
powerpoint. Students check out AR books of their choice from our library on a
regular basis and then take AR comprehension tests on the books. They receive
rewards for different point levels reached after taking the tests.
Language: Lots of writing activities are planned for this year.
Math: We will be starting off the year working on place value and
rounding numbers. We use partner games and interactive math games to help
improve their skills.
