SPELLING:
Spelling words will be assigned every Monday. Students will take a pretest on
Monday,and on Friday will then only be tested on the words that they missed.
READING:
I cannot say enough about our Accelerated Reader (AR) program! I have seen
student reading levels make incredible gains with AR. In my classroom,
students can earn rewards such as soft drinks, ice cream parties, and
breakfast from Burger King for reaching certain goals. Encourage your child
to be a part of our AR race to a pizza lunch for the class.
If you have time to ask them a few questions about what they read, that
would be a HUGE help and I would greatly appreciate it.
LANGUAGE:
Generally there is very little written homework for language.
MATH: Study Math4Today and any math vocabulary terms that are sent home.
