Begin with recognition of what they have done to the best of theirability by referring to particular details about their work not them in general. Then ask your child how they think they could have improved something in particular if they are not satisfied with the results. Assure your child that you are there to help develop a plan of study as part of their team, but you cannot do the work.Remind your child that self-esteem is the good feeling that come with working hard to achieve each successful job, big or small, each day.
