Contact the school counselor Sara Hughes and she will 
screen your child which is the first step in the 
evaluation process.

Does my child have homework?

Any classwork that is not completed becomes homework. Other 
homework assignments include the weekly spelling contract, 
assigned math homework, AR book project and studying for tests.

How do I know when my child has an upcoming test or project due?

Your child should copy test dates and assignments daily into 
their agenda.  Usually a week's notice will be given before a 
test is given.  Spelling  Pre test will be given every Tuesday 
and Test Friday.  Reading Vocabulary and Comprehension test on 
Friday. Daily Oral Language And Daily Oral Math quizzes will be 
every other Friday. Changes to regular test schedule will be 
announced!

How do I check grades or progress of my child?

You may access the sti @ home website listed on my links page, 
and enter your child's user name and password.  If you have not 
received a user name and password contact Mr. Bennett.

When do graded papers go home?

I will send graded papers home every two weeks. Look for them on 
Tuesdays in the graded paper folder.  Sign and return the 
attached form . Any D or F papers should also be signed and 
returned.
