Code of Writing
It is understood that all teachers of every subject
Will hold me to the following standards
in all written responses I provide
on all task set before me...
1. Mechanics Standards:
A. Capitalized properly, i.e. the first letter of a
sentence and proper nouns.
B. Punctuate properly, i.e. end marks and
commas.
C. Write legibly.
D. Spell correctly.
2. Sentence Standards:
A. Write all responses in complete sentences.
B. Respond so that the original question is obvious
C. Obvious to he reader.
3. Short answer/constructed response Standards:
A. Write a topic sentence that shows what question you
are answering.
B. Write sentences that explain or support your
answer.
C. Writing a concluding sentence that "wraps-up" what
you just said.
Cardinal Rules!
* Illegible answers will not be accepted.
* One word answers will not be accepted.
* Sentence fragments answers will not be
accepted.
