Choir News!
I am excited about this year. The Choirs all sound great. We have lots of plans for the year.
Do not wait until the last minute to purchase gauchos. They can be purchased at any department store. The choir uniform policy is strictly enforced.
Old uniforms can be donated to Clearwood for needy (or forgetful) students.
We need to purchase acoustic shells so that the choir can be heard at performances in the gym. We are looking for fundraising ideas. The shells will cost between $3,500 and $5,000.
We need your help!
We are looking for a Choir Mom or Dad for each choir. This wonderful person can help me coordinate fund raisers, make phone calls or send e-mail updates.
I am also looking for a person who loves to organize. I have shelves and closets in need of organization. I also need music filed. If you can help, please let me know.
I am looking for a carpenter to make a keyboard stand cart.
Thank you to Georgette Brannon for organizing my cabinet. Still one more to go.
Chaperones are always needed for field trips. This includes Dads. They will start in December. We also need parents in the choir room before and after a concert and parents during the concert to sit with the choir while the other choirs perform.
Bows are available (not required) from Ms. Joyce King. You can pick up an order form in my room.
