Do you have to own an instrument to join the band?

In most cases, yes. We do have some school - owned "high need" instruments.
Students do need to purchase a mouthpiece of their own to play these. These
instruments are: Horn, Euphonium, and Tuba. The band also furnishes a lot of
the percussion instruments. Percussion students should have a snare drum,
bell kit, concert sticks and bell mallets.
