Character Counts

A person of character...

  • Is a good person, someone to look up to and admire.
  • Knows the difference between right and wrong and always tries to do what is right.
  • Sets a good example for everyone.
  • Makes the world a better place.
  • Is someone that would make a great friend.

Every month, each homeroom teacher will hand out a medal to a deserving student who is an excellent model of the characteristic listed below.  

 
2011-2012 Characteristics & Definitions:

 September Helpful useful, giving aid or of service  
 October Friendly being kind to others, being a friend  
 November Honest able to be trusted  
 December Mature adult-like, not childish  
 January Curious eager to learn, asks questions  
 February Brave having courage in face of difficulties  
 March Creative having original thought and imagination  
 April Ambitious eager to achieve and reach goals
