Parents, This week objectives are: Identifying and classifying polygons and triangles. The students will learn the greek or latin prefixes of a polygon used to identify a polygon, and how to determine if a polygon is regular or irregular (4th:Lesson 8-2 & 5th:Lesson 6-4). Students will also classify triangles by the lenghth of their sides (Grade 5 only;Lesson 6-5). Review with your child by helping with home-work and/or by going on line to find games and or activities pertaining to our lesson.
