I'm Patricia "Pat" Smith and I've been working in this parish for 26 years,
I've always had an interest in education as there are quite a few educators
in my family. I'm a graduate of Southern University where I received a B.S.
in Health Physical Education K-12. I received my certification in Special
Education K-12 from Southeastern Louisiana University. I've coached
softball, assisted in coaching basketball and I am and have coached the Boys
Volleyball Team for 21 years. I can proudly announce that the Boys Volleyball
Team placed 1st in the 2010 Division 1 Tournament, and 2nd place in 2011. I
truly believe that all students can achieve their goal(s) given the right
environment, strategies, techniques,and proper support.
