Allow me to first welcome my parents and students to our class! This will
be my 6th year teaching 4th grade, 5th at Clearwood Junior High. I began my
career teaching 4th grade in Texas(born and raised until about 4 years ago!).
I live in Slidell with my husband,Carter, of just over two years, our new
baby girl, Hailey (born 5-22-11 :)) and our yorkie,
Dillon. Carter is a firefighter for St. Tammany Parish in Slidell. We love
to travel and spend time with our family and friends as well as support LSU,
the Saints and of course our Dallas teams :).
You will quickly notice this school year that I have an open door policy in my
classroom and I maintain good, open communication with my students' parents.
I firmly believe that there must be a strong support system between parents
and teachers to show WE believe in the success of our students. I look
forward to a fun, learning-filled school year!
