What does M.A.E. stand for?
The MAE program stands for Management Alternatives in Education. Our goal is
to assist students in succeeding in an educational setting as well as learn
appropriate behavioral responses.
What does a Daily Behavior Sheet reflect ?
Each day students will receive a Daily Behavior Sheet that will reflect the
students behavior for that day. 80% to 100% reflects appropriate behavior
for the student. Anything below 80% may result in a warning, a loss of
privileges, a call to parents and/ or a trip to the principals office. If
your child should continue to receive less than 80% on an ongoing basis,
please note the area of the problem and speak with your child about the
behavior. Any suggestions for managing the behavior are welcomed and
appreciated.
How do student recieve points/rewards for Daily Behavior Sheets?
When a student has a problem, a tally mark will be made on the point sheet in
the area in which the behavior occurred, each time the behavior occurs. Each
area is worth 2 points. If a student receives 1-2 tally marks in the area,
they receive 2 points, 3-4 tally marks in the area, they receive 1 point, 5
or more tally marks in the area, they receive 0 points. Each student will
receive a sticker a point for homework and 1 point for signed point sheets.
What happens when homework incentive sheet is filled?
When sticker incentive sheet in homework folder is filled, the student will
receive a prize from the Treasure Chest.
