Special education students are graded on the same scale as regular education students.  However, curriculum, assessment, and instruction may be modified according to your child’s specific needs and instructional level.

Accommodations/modifications to materials and curriculum are provided to assist students in learning material based on individual needs and agreed upon at the IEP meeting. These accommodations are met by the special education teacher in the special education class and by the regular education teacher during the times the child is in the regular class.
