Folders
Students will have 3 folders that you will need to see regularly.
1. Blue Daily Folder: Contains: parent communication and reminders
(front pocket); Daily behavior calendar (middle);
and homework packets and assignments in the back pocket.
Bring this folder every day! Parent initials this folder on the date every
day.
Reading, Language, and Math homework will be placed in this folder in the
back pocket.
2. Yellow Reading Folder: Contains: Dolch word review storage for flash
cards (in the front); list of Dolch words to practice and storage for take-
home books(in the middle). You should practice Dolch words with your child
nightly for approximately 5 - 15 minutes. Bring this folder every day!
3. Green Weekly Graded Work Folder: Contains: a pocket for graded work
(front), a pocket for work to be sent home (back), and a middle sheet for
signatures and communication. Parent signs and returns this folder every
Tuesday. Please remove and keep the materials in the back pocket of the
folder and return the graded work in the front to me. I will return graded
work for you to keep quarterly.
