Accelerated Reading Program

The Accelerated Reader program allows students to have access to books which appear on the Accelerated Reader list. These books are easily accessed by student both in the classroom and in the library. These books are all leveled so students can easily identify a book that is just right for their particular ability level. This allows students to read in the most productive zone, all the while giving the student a challenging text without the frustration of being too difficult. Students strive to achieve goals and are recognized on the morning broadcast when goals are met.

Be sure to ask your child what their reading level is and encourage them to continue to improve it by reading and testing on books at the top of their current reading level. I'm very proud of their efforts to continue to improve their reading.
