Please read to your child every day. Then write titles of books read on
the Monthly Reading Log. Return it to school and a new log will be sent
home. We keep track of how many books are read at home. Each time your child
returns a completed log, his/her name will be mentioned on the school
broadcast for reading books at home.
-Help your child learn his/her birthday, address, phone number, and how to
tie shoe laces.
-Help your child learn to write his/her first and last name each beginning
with a capital letter and the rest of the letters lowercase.
Check star newsletter for any additional homework and the monthly homework
practice packet. Also, your child may have work that was not completed in
class to complete as homework. Please check to see if there is a homework
stamp on papers.
