My name is Amy Scobel. I will be your child's third grade teacher this year
at Covington Elementary. I am married with two sons, Lain who's 11 years old
and Joel who is three. I've been teaching for fifteen years, fourteen of
which have been in third grade. Fifteen years ago I received my teaching
degree and certification from the University of New Orleans. I am originally
from Marrero, but I relocated to Covington five years ago. I am so excited
to be starting my sixth year at Covington Elementary with such a phenomenal
administration, faculty, and staff.
My mission as a teacher is to be there for each and every one of my
students. I believe every child can and will learn. As your child's
teacher, I promise to work together with you and your child to make him/her
the best student and all around person he/she can possibly be.
