The students are expected to ...

1. Enter the classroom quietly and go directly to their desks.

2. Take out the necessary supplies for class (pen/pencil, notebook, paper).

3. Remain seated throughout class unless permission is given to get up (raise your hand).

4. Keep quiet unless permission is given to talk (raise your hand).

6. Respect others and be respectful. (from the Classroom Life Expectations)

7. Be trustworthy and truthful. (from the Classroom Life Expectations)

8. Only have positive communication. (from the Classroom Life Expectations)

9. Always perform at your personal best. (from the Classroom Life Expectations)

10. Have active listening. (from the Classroom Life Expectations)

Consequences that will occur if the expectations are not met....

3. Lunch Detention (6th grade reports to the lunch detention table; 7th grade finds me on duty at recess and stands on the wall; 8th grade stands on the wall by Ms. Milligan)

4. After School Teacher Detention (6th grade serves in Ms. Burley's classroom on Wednesdays unless she says otherwise; 7th and 8th grade will follow the 7th grade after school detention schedule - teachers rotate weekly)

5. Administrative Referral

*Keep in mind that sometimes offenses cannot follow this format of consequences.
