I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans in
Elementary Education. I then attended Southeastern Louisiana University
where I received a Master's Degree in Speical Education (Mild - Moderate). I
I taught 3rd and 4th grade for two years at D.C. Reeves Elementary in
Ponchatoula. I then decided to teach closer to home and accepted a job at
Creekside. I have taught special education math and regular education math
at Creekside since 2003.
I am happily married to Karl Meyers and we have 2 precious little boys,
Killian (7) and Kole (4).
My mission is to create a productive and safe learning environment. I
want to prepare students to problem solve so they can tackle the real world.
I also want them to enjoy themselves and possibly think that math can be fun!!
