Sixth Grade Vision
Learning is a life long journey. In connection with the vision
of Creekside Jr. High, the sixth grade vision is based on the belief that we
must prepare sixth graders of all backgrounds to become independent, self
directed learners in a junior high school setting.
The goal of the sixth grade teachers is to promote effective
communication with all stakeholders through the use of various technology,
community and school resources. We strive to provide cross curricular equal
opportunities to empower students of diverse backgrounds. We understand the
individual differences of all students. We view each student as a valued
individual, and we are willing to accommodate each of their differences.
Sixth grade is an important transition period for students.
Creekside is a safe place that understands the student stresses of beginning
a junior high school. Ultimately we equip our sixth graders with the social
skills necessary for them to lead productive and fulfilling lives in an ever-
changing world.
