Hi! Welcome to 6th grade ELA. I will be your ELA teacher during this
year. This is my 10th year of teaching, although this is only my 6th year at
Creekside. I taught in St. Charles parish for 4 years before moving to this
area almost 5 years ago. My husband, Kris, and I have a 4-
year old daughter named Kayleigh and are expecting a son, Kolton, this
winter. During my free time I love
to go out in our BOAT with my family.
This year I hope for all of my students to develop a deeper understanding of
literature. It is not my goal for all students to LOVE reading, but for all
my students to appreciate reading on their own level.
