nine weeks?
If you have around 13 points as of Nov. 16 , you are on target! Try to earn
1-2 points a week. You must PASS tests to earn points!
Don’t forget your time line project is due Dec. 3.
This Week:
Math: Chapter 7, Time Test Tuesday: We begin multiplication Wednesday. It
is time to start drilling multiplication facts if you have not already
started. I suggest you purchase or make a set of flash cards and drill EVERY
evening! Multiplication facts MUST be mastered.
Reading: Our story this week is A Pen Pal for Max.
Robust Vocabulary: Practice using our vocabulary words in conversation and
sentences.
Reading Skill: Story Elements (plot) characters, setting, events (the plot
includes t he problem, important events, and solution); using context clues
to decide the meaning of an unknown word
English/Writing: We are learning about verbs. Class work will be graded. I
don’t assign English homework, but you may take your English book home to
review if you need to improve your grade.
Spelling/Phonics: Consonant Digraph words with kn, gn, wr, and gh(f)
gnat knew sign knob gnaw write knees
wrinkle kneel wrist cough known rough
wrench knight
Challenge Words: knitting laughter wring unknown playwright
Social Living: Chapter 6 Test will be this Tuesday, Nov. 18. Please study
your study guide.
