I was born and raised in Iowa. I graduated from the University of Northern
Iowa with a degree in elementary education and reading. I have lived and
taught in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Louisiana! This will be my
third year at Eastside and my 16th year teaching altogether. Although we
have become LSU fans, I will always be an Iowa girl at heart. (GO HAWKS!)
I am married to wonderful man, Glenn, and have three grown stepsons. I
enjoy reading, watching movies, playing with my dogs, working in my
flower beds, and spending time with my family.
I am proud to be a part of the Eastside team, and I look forward to
working closely with both students and parents.
It is my goal to afford each student the opportunity to learn in a positive,
nurturing environment.
