We are learning some great vocabulary! Try using these words in sentences
with your child this week! Students must be able to use these words in
sentences and apply the meaning. They DO NOT need to know the definition.
Astonishing, continue, doubt, transform, examine, devour
Our independent reading levels have all gone up! This means our little books
will get longer and harder. Try taking turns reading pages with your child
to help speed up the process. Also, remember fluency is our goal--try to
model reading with expression!
We will be capitalizing names of days of the week in our DOL this week.
