Welcome to my class!

This is my 10th year at Eastside Elementary and my 13th year teaching 1st 
grade. I am married to a wonderful man. We have two beautiful daughters. 
Both girls will be attending Eastside this year. My oldest will be in the 
5th grade and my youngest will be in 2nd grade.

I love to read all kinds of books.  My husband and I enjoy our LSU football 
season tickets. We love to watch the LSU Tigers play and WIN!  I love to 
hear "The Golden Band from Tigerland" play "Hold that Tiger" ! GEAUX TIGERS!

I want to create a safe environment where children love learning. My major 
focus will be making your child a fluent reader!
