School begins @ 8:00 a.m. Please be here so that your child can be in the
classroom at that time.
Lunch costs $1.50/day. Please send money for the week on Monday or pay for
the month. Lunch money should be sent to school in a lunch envelope with
all the information completed - cash only.
When sending any money to school with your child, please put it in a sealed
envelope with your child's name, purpose for the money (i.e. Pizza Slice),
the amount, my name, and Room #2.
Check you child's book bag for the information folder It goes home
everyday. Also, ask your child about his/her day at school. Please send
return items promptly.
A note MUST be sent to change a child's ride home from school. If there is
no change in writing, I am required to follow the normal routine.
Book orders will always come home in the Bulldog folder on a Tuesday. I need
the white laminated envelope returned regardless of whether or not you order
so that I can use it again for the next order. I will take orders through
that Friday and then I will order the items over the weekend.
Home Learning is assigned daily except for Wednesdays, which is Reader day.
Incomplete Home Learning means missing recess/centers to make it up. Home
Learning grades are reflected on second grade report cards.
On Wednesdays, please read and discuss the Reader story with your child and
return the reader on Thursday as we use them daily. Remember to record the
stories on your Read @ Home log.
Please pay your child's school fee as soon as possible. It pays for your
child's math and reading workbooks.
