Hello, my name is Erin Bergeret, and I love being a Physical Education
teacher. I have been a P.E teacher for ten years. I taught four years
in Houston, Texas and five years at Blanchard Elementary school.
I love my job!! The best part of being a P.E teacher is that I teach
everyone in the school. P.E is an integral part of your child's education.
During your child's class, he or she will be given the opportunity to learn
new skills and gain the knowledge needed to be physically active for a
lifetime!
Please make sure your child wears comfortable clothes and tennis shoes to
school on their PE day.
PAW Club
The Physical Activity and Wellness Club (PAW Club) will meet every Tuesday
from 3:00 until 4:00pm. Please send a water bottle with your child and make
sure they are wearing their PAW Club t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. If
your child earns 500 points by the end of April they will go on a special
field trip with me in May. Every Wednesday they participate they will earn
15 points. Students can earn 50 bonus points if they play on a sports team
or participate in another physical activity such as gymnastics, karate,
tennis, golf, etc. Students must get their coach to sign a verification form
in order to receive the bonus points. The more sports they participate in
throughout the year the more bonus points they can accumulate.
