About The Teacher

This is my sixth year at Fairfield Magnet, having taught 22 years in another 
parish.  I have been teaching gifted classes since 1981 and enjoy the 
challenge of teaching academically gifted students.  I hold a B.A. and M.A. 
in Education from LA TECH.  I completed my +30 in 1995 and takes classes and 
workshops yearly to further meet the needs of the students.

That each student discovers their potential through studies and activities 
that build skills in personal responsibility, creating new interests, 
critical thinking, research and questioning, and creative expression.
