Third grade spelling will work like fourth grade Spelling. Please look below
for details.

Spelling Test - Thursday or Friday
Fourth Grade
Spelling Pretest - Every Monday
If your child makes a 100% on the spelling pretest, there is no Spelling
homework and no test as the pretest will be the Spelling grade for the week.
If your child misses any words on the pretest, homework is to be completed
and turned in by Thursday. A Spelling test on only the missed words can be
taken either Thursday.
Vocabulary Workshop Pretest - Every Monday
**Go to Links and there is a link to Vocabulary Workshop to study and play
games with each weeks words.
If your child makes a 100% or misses 1 (96%) on the pretest, there is no
Vocabulary Workshop homework and no test as the pretest will be the
Vocabulary Workshop grade for the week.
If your child misses 2 or more on the pretest, homework is to be completed
and turned in by Thursday. A Vocabulary Workshop test will be given either
Thursday or Friday (student choice). They will be tested over the entire unit
of words, as the tests are multiple choice.
