MATH: Did not have a chance to review due to French today. I am going to give
them another quiz tomorrow. The one we tried today did not do as well as
planned. Quite a few have it but still too many do not for my liking. I am
also moving the unit test back to November the 12th instead of the 10th.
Please have your child practice counting money and showing money different
ways. Example 500 pennies is also 5 dollars. 25 cents can also be 2 dimes
and a nickel. We will also be making change up to 5 dollars.
READING: "A Pen Pal For Max" (Expository Nonfiction) This week we will use
the "PIE" method to identify the author's purpose.

Writing: How To Paragraph
Science: Finishing up our energy vocabulary. We made note cards today and
will be testing on them November the 6th.
