Students should spend as much time as possible practicing their
reading skills. This can be done by reading magazines, newspapers, cereal
boxes, sale papers, or anything that has printed words. The more a person
reads a better reader he/she becomes. Please ask your students what they
have read lately and discuss it with them. Interest helps to push them
further.
There will also be homework assigned at least weekly involving spelling,
grammar, and test taking skills. This will be a portion of your child's
grade each six weeks, so please make sure the work is completed and handed in.
