With the majority of our students using the Internet both in and
out of school, it is essential that all students receive information and
training on how to be safe online.
In this technology generated society it is extremely important for parents to
know Internet safety. It is important to know when children spend too much
time on the computer, to know what your children are doing online, and to
know what sites they are visiting. Are these sites safe? Are they appropriate?
Be sure you know who they're sending emails to and who they're getting emails
from. Be sure you know if they're visiting chatrooms, which ones, and what
goes on in those chatrooms. Communicate openly with your children about what
they do online.
BE AWARE!! COMMUNICATE!!! MONITOR!!!
